Cannot launch on google chrome.

Whoever authored Last Pass's "business model" has a warped sense of humor. To THAT, I will give them credit. THIS COMPANY SUCKS. So does its so-called "products". I have been unable in spite of repeated attempts, to do EXACTLY what Last Pass has instructed me to do. All to no avail. Example: Something as simple and stupid as changing a password, because I'm human, and forgot the existing password. No 2-step verification is offered or provided, to help facilitate this process, as is offered by the likes of Google and/or Yahoo (for instance). This company is why I don't golf. I stay away from things that I suck at. And I certainly don't ask anyone else to be subjected to it, either. Don't quit your day job, guys.

Account recovery always fails because URL in email is always invalid

I have the same issue as Don Giannatti. LastPass worked fine (apart form logging me out multiple times a day) until I was prompted yesterday to update my Master Password, which I wrote down AND copy/pasted into a text editor to make sure I didn't forget or mistype it next time it was required. I can no longer log into LastPass. I have tried Reset Password. No joy. I have tried Recover Account. No joy. Both end up in this endless loop of requiring you to enter the updated Master Password that it doesn't recognise or accept! I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the LastPass Chrome Extension, with a shut down and restart in between removing it and re-adding it, all to no avail. Get your stuff together LastPass!!!! At this stage, I would NOT recommend LastPass.

The latest version of LastPass, specifically version 4.126.0, is experiencing an issue preventing auto-fill for business users. Please fix it ASAP.

Logs me out of all websites and google accounts every now and then. It is frustrating to login again to all accounts

happy to fix this review if I can get some satisfaction. It stopped working for me. The master password they say is wrong, but I cannot change it because you have to log in to change the password. Tried the "reset password" but it tells me the account cannot get a new password, and that I need to change it... by logging in. Which as you have read, I cannot do. I do not want to continue, but in order to cancel my account, I must... wait for it.... LOG IN. Please for the love of god I do not want this program anymore. I would try to contact them, but that requres.... sigh... logging in.

Unfortunately, after several years of using the application, I am thinking of changing it, I pay premium to have the benefits of it, but the constant errors, late synchronization, and response to requests, make it more and more difficult to use it.

Having same problems with version 4.126 on Windows 10 as the previous February 2024 reviewers - converted Premium account to Free account effective with renewal date. Followed all instructions to export passwords BEFORE cancelling Premium service (many I had changed 1/1/2024). LP Support pages assured me that Free service would continue to work and save my passwords....NOT the case. Now, I've been coerced into renewing the annual fee for PREMIUM service and I'm in a circular argument with LastPass attempting to log in to PREMIUM account - won't allow me to log in, change a forgotten password. Hate this! Much like one of the February reviewers, not inclined to load the 4.3 version either.

no customer support available. password reset link expired 0 mins since it was sent. impossible to use and recover log in. no help at all

Impossible to recover account or reset master password...I guess I won't be using it anymore once I delete it. There is no tech support whatsoever.

Ok, I've been using LastPass for a longtime. On my iPhone. In various browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and others. The app is consistently exceeding my expectations. I saw some negative reviews for LastPass. One example is they couldn't retrieve their lost password. Well, I've actually ran into that issue a few times over the years. And I've never had an issue. Is that user's information in LastPass updated with a verified alternative email address? And/or with their cellphone? LastPass provides ways to help the user with this issue. Another negative review about their security breach. Like 23AndMe, along with other companies, LastPass was vulnerable because the user used the same password not only for their LastPass account but also for other accounts. This is the issue that these companies are struggling with. Things are dummy-proof a lot more than just even five years ago. But if a user, even with all of LastPass's notices on their account about various security issues, the user gets lazy and uses that password for other websites that are not so secure. Those get hacked. Then they just run your email address and that password again your LastPass account. LastPass can't stop you from creating your own security breach like this. Trust me, they are still trying to figure out how to save you from yourself. So it is not like they are like 'oh well'. Last note: Looks like someone created a bunch of bogus accounts and left multiple bad reviews here on the extension. I'm sure some are legit, but too many look like copies of each other.

works sometimes. not always compatible on all sites. there really is no use paying for this anymore since chrome comes with a password manager. so I am not going to keep paying $40 for this

Last Pass is the name of this product because it allows YOU to have ONE LAST PASSWORD that gives you access to all your other passwords. YOU KEEP that ONE and they secure all the others. But if you don't secure that ONE last PASSWORD... who's responsibility was it secure it? And no, I'm not a LastPass employee, I'm just a 79 year old guy with 50+ years of computer experience.... welcome the 21st Century where you still have some responsibilites.

There is no other option to delete my account and start a new account as master password not recoverable.. This is really really horrible experience for users who use this extension for save all kind of passwords that generally people cannot remember. Last Pass authority should solve this issue asap.

Horrible! Paid good money for this and it never has worked! Never again!
