30 Reviews For This Extension
Do yourself a favor, find something else. LastPass has had a large data breach a few years back. LastPass couldn't save a valid record of my LastPass account setup! When LastPass asked me if I wanted to save the password to their site I said yes. The password record included info from OTHER non-related sites. Did NOT capture my password. And now I have had to set up LastPass twice. Because it can't save passwords.
UI designed by programmer, i guess, proper 2000’s feel. Compeltely unreliable, it cannot recognise the previously device every now and then, which turns the promoted „last password“ experience in 12-factor authentication nightmare: you must click on the link they send you via e-mail, but how enter the inbox, when the lastpass is refusing to login and give you password to access the inbox. User Franz Kafka likes this. Go and find another device and pray it is still recognised and you will be able to confirm that you are you and the device is the device… And the extension! A joke. Logs you out randomly. Fine, i got used to live with that. But there is an upgrade: you click on it and and it shows you blank white square instead of dropdown. Very useful. So you go to lastpass.com – sounds proud right? Another blank page with login button in the right top corner. You click it and (take a deep breath) nothing happens! The best comes now: they are paid for this! I think i won’t recognise the next invoice.
Says it's free; it's not.
All good until it started crashing regularly recently.
PLEASE DONT DOWNLOAD THIS SAD EXCUSE OF AN EXTENSION, ALL BOTTED FAKE REVIEWS SUPPORT IS NOT REAL. THEY DONT SEND 90% OF THE EMAILS. CANT LOGIN EVEN WITH THE RIGHT PASS. THEY STEAL ALL YOUR DATA.
I love Lastpass, just get rid of the feature that opens a new tab to login to lastpass. That tab does not always login to lastpass. i always login via the extension icon on Chrome's menu bar
I have to re-login every time I open the browser and logging in with the extension and putting the Yubikey only works on the website, not with the extension popup. Then after I log in, I have to restart the browser again and log in a 2nd time or else it doesn't find any sites.
Works great when it actually works. Has been crashing often. Last Pass version: 4.146.1 Brave Version: Brave 1.80.125 (Official Build) (64-bit) Chromium: 138.0.7204.184
very laggy and some errors lately
Great when it works. Having constant issues with extension for the last few months. The auto fill stops working regularly, the passwordless access stops working sometimes.... Might another solution if this keeps happening.
Logo blocks so many non-login related fields on web forms. Logs me out within a few days for no reason whatsoever. Love to get themselves breached. Signing in takes 3 minutes to load and frequently have to do the annoying "verify location" which then you have to RETYPE the long password again. Elementary level developers on this team, it's cute.
Works well enough, but I see a lot of errors in my DevTools console when this plugin is enabled. I have to turn it off so I can reliably debug websites.
From last few days, it's behaving very random. It keeps asking me login several times in a day even I turned on "Trust this computer for 30 days", it still logged me out and asking me to login again. Please fix this asap, it's creating a frustation now.
The chrome extension is almost useless. It's logging out randomly several times a day. I don't have it set to log out ever on any of my machines.
I've been using LastPass for years and recently have been having trouble with the Chrome extension. When it logs me out it takes several tries to log back in again - and I know the password is correct. It doesn't show an error message, but makes me try again. I've had to log back into the website version in order to login. I have the Pro version which includes the mobile app.
I've been using LastPass for years. It's been totally acceptable...I have no other password app to compare it to. I will say one thing that I found kind of annoying the other day: the app was insisting that I change my master password. I was on a different computer. It stated "we do not save your password" "ever" so I put in my same password and it said "you can not use your same password". Well, obviously they do save passwords. Anyways....
Updated Chrome now requires a constant refresh of extension to work
I've been a paying customer for 15 years. But with no support for Brave, I'm moving on.
Search item in vault -> copy password does not work, my clipboard does not get changed. 100% repro. macOS + chrome. Pitifully important bug to leave in.
I also have used LastPass for 7 or more years and loved it. However the Chrome extension no longer works and there is no support or help available. The Devs are not responding. For me a password app requires ALOT of trust and I don't trust lastpass anymore.
all those having issues with Lastpass ring 1800 231 820
Cannot launch on google chrome.
Whoever authored Last Pass's "business model" has a warped sense of humor. To THAT, I will give them credit. THIS COMPANY SUCKS. So does its so-called "products". I have been unable in spite of repeated attempts, to do EXACTLY what Last Pass has instructed me to do. All to no avail. Example: Something as simple and stupid as changing a password, because I'm human, and forgot the existing password. No 2-step verification is offered or provided, to help facilitate this process, as is offered by the likes of Google and/or Yahoo (for instance). This company is why I don't golf. I stay away from things that I suck at. And I certainly don't ask anyone else to be subjected to it, either. Don't quit your day job, guys.
Account recovery always fails because URL in email is always invalid
I have the same issue as Don Giannatti. LastPass worked fine (apart form logging me out multiple times a day) until I was prompted yesterday to update my Master Password, which I wrote down AND copy/pasted into a text editor to make sure I didn't forget or mistype it next time it was required. I can no longer log into LastPass. I have tried Reset Password. No joy. I have tried Recover Account. No joy. Both end up in this endless loop of requiring you to enter the updated Master Password that it doesn't recognise or accept! I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the LastPass Chrome Extension, with a shut down and restart in between removing it and re-adding it, all to no avail. Get your stuff together LastPass!!!! At this stage, I would NOT recommend LastPass.
The latest version of LastPass, specifically version 4.126.0, is experiencing an issue preventing auto-fill for business users. Please fix it ASAP.
Logs me out of all websites and google accounts every now and then. It is frustrating to login again to all accounts
happy to fix this review if I can get some satisfaction. It stopped working for me. The master password they say is wrong, but I cannot change it because you have to log in to change the password. Tried the "reset password" but it tells me the account cannot get a new password, and that I need to change it... by logging in. Which as you have read, I cannot do. I do not want to continue, but in order to cancel my account, I must... wait for it.... LOG IN. Please for the love of god I do not want this program anymore. I would try to contact them, but that requres.... sigh... logging in.
Unfortunately, after several years of using the application, I am thinking of changing it, I pay premium to have the benefits of it, but the constant errors, late synchronization, and response to requests, make it more and more difficult to use it.
Having same problems with version 4.126 on Windows 10 as the previous February 2024 reviewers - converted Premium account to Free account effective with renewal date. Followed all instructions to export passwords BEFORE cancelling Premium service (many I had changed 1/1/2024). LP Support pages assured me that Free service would continue to work and save my passwords....NOT the case. Now, I've been coerced into renewing the annual fee for PREMIUM service and I'm in a circular argument with LastPass attempting to log in to PREMIUM account - won't allow me to log in, change a forgotten password. Hate this! Much like one of the February reviewers, not inclined to load the 4.3 version either.
